For Sudan’s second year participating in GEW celebrations (2015), we have succeeded in educating, spreading and rooting the entrepreneurial way of thinking in many of our young generations.
In 2015, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community hosted GEW Sudan, and featured 30 events and activities, including three Global Picks; the Future Agro Challenge, Get in the Ring and Startup Weekend. They also featured Startup Grind Khartoum, Seed Stars and Startup Weekend Social Innovation. These activates took place in more than four universities and facilitated region programs in five different states.
The country had more than 4,000 visitors attend events in person, with an estimated 99,000 people viewing the content online or learning about GEW from local and international coverage on television and radio stations.
